Sandra Plunkett's case files are now in Boone County where a judge will decide when her trial will start.

This process is expected to take a couple weeks.

We should find out Monday when the trial for Sandra Plunkett begins.

Plunkett is charged with 1st degree murder in the New Year’s Day shooting death of her husband Paul.

Holts Summit Police say Plunkett confessed to shooting him with a rifle.

The trial setting is Monday morning at the Callaway County Circuit Clerk's office.

Sandra Plunkett has pled not guilty.
