Men taken into custody after fleeing crime scene

FULTON, MO. -- Two men were taken into custody after hitting a parked car and leaving the scene in Fulton just before midnight Saturday night.

Fulton Police said Thomas Schneider, 33, was driving a 1994 Pontiac when he side swiped a parked 1992 Honda on the 400 block of E. 8th St. and then left the scene.

Witnesses told police they saw the Schneider and his passenger, Daniel Foreman, 24, switch seats before they left the scene.

When officers located the men in the Pontiac Foreman failed to stop so they deployed spike strips.

The Pontiac then went west bound on Rt F. and eventually ran off the road near Amerihost Dr.

During a search of the car police found small amount of marijuana.

Schneider was arrested for 2 counts of Felony Resisting Arrest, Failure to stop for and emergency vehicle, and possession of Marijuana less than 35 grams.

Foreman was arrested for Felony Driving while Revoked, Felony leaving the scene of an accident, DWI, and Possession of Marijuana less than 35 grams.

Both Auxvasse men were booked in the Callaway County Jail with a bond of $10,000.00 each.
