A suspect in a Camden County home invasion case died after deputies used a TASER during the arrest. The Camden County Sheriff's Department said Glenn D. Norman 46 of Neelyville died early Tuesday morning. An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday.

According to the Camden County Sheriff's Office, dispatch received a call just before 4:30 Tuesday morning from a house on Teer Drive in Linn Creek. The caller said a white man knocked on his door and when he opened it, the suspect pushed his way into the home. Authorities said there was a struggle between the caller and the unidentified man. The caller told authorities the man left his residence but was still in the neighborhood.

Camden County deputies arrived to the neighborhood and approached the man they believed had entered the home. According to deputies, the man began resisting arrest and they used the TASER X26 to subdue him.

Deputies said several minutes later, the man began having troubles breathing. They called medical personnel, but before they could arrive, the man went into respiratory arrest. Deputies performed CPR on the man until medical staff could arrive.

The man was prnounced dead at the scene at approximately 6:31 a.m. by an on duty Lake Regional Emergency Room physician.

The Missouri Highway Patrol is conducting the official investigation of the incident.
