COLUMBIA, MO. -- State Treasurer Clint Zweifel stood with Columbia-based entrepreneur Brent Beshore in his headquarters in South Columbia to announce $1.5 in low-interest loans to Beshore’s Ad Ventures Company.

Ad Ventures was recently ranked the 28th fastest growing company in the United States by Inc. Magazine.

Beshore used the loans to purchase and renovate his headquarters in Columbia’s Museao Building, purchase a building in St. Louis, refinance equipment and provide capital growth.

The loans will save Beshore about $130,000 in interest over 5 years.

Beshore is already planning to add at least 15 more employees.

Beshore said, “We’re planning on adding 15 in Missouri.  Depending on the acquisition side of our business, as well as how some of the portfolio companies grow, we may add employees out of state.  I think 15 is probably what we are looking at as far as in state.”

Mid-Missouri businesses have received more than $233 million from the Missouri Linked Deposit Loan Program that has impacted more than 3,300 jobs over the past 3 years.

Zweifel said, “The best part is this is a decision by Brent and his team.  It’s not government coming in with a silly acronym and a complicated program trying to tell him how to figure things out.  It’s the business on the ground making things work.”
