A Rolla man was arrested after deputies said they found a marijuana garden on his property.

Monday afternoon, Phelps County Sheriff’s Deputies followed up on tips and went to a property in northern Phelps County on County Road 8050.

Officers found a large plot of marijuana plants behind a barn. Deputies said there were more than 150 marijuana plants ranging in size from three to nine feet tall. They also found a large amount of processed marijuana in an adjacent building.

Deputies harvested the plants. Samples of the plants and marijuana were kept as evidence. The remaining plants were destroyed.

Deputies arrested the resident, 56-year-old Mr. Timothy Glenn Crowley, on suspicion of cultivation and possession of marijuana. He’s in the Phelps County Jail.
