MOBERLY, MO -- An autopsy is scheduled Friday for a woman hit and killed by a train.
Moberly police say they found Jessica Price, of Madison, Missouri, at about 11:15 Thursday night. She was under a train between the rails near the Coates Street crossing.
Officers say Price, 31, was walking on Coates Street as the Norfolk Southern train was leaving the rail yard.
All crossing signals and gates were operating properly and the train was sounding its horn at the time of the collision.
Emergency officials transported Price to a local hospital where doctors later pronounced her dead.
