COLUMBIA COLLEGE -- The state of Columbia College is strong and the future is bright.

That’s according College President Dr. Gerald Brouder.

Brouder gave his state of the college address before a crowd of faculty, staff and students.

Brouder said the college is without debt.

The school’s enrollment is at record levels because of online classes.

As for the future, Brouder predicts his college will launch more degree opportunities within the next 2 years.

Brouder said, “Things have never been better.  We had our best financial year ever this past year.  Our enrollments are up a little over 6% across all venues.  6% is a large number since we educated, at least, 30,000 students this past year.  The projectory is in the right direction.”

After his address, the crowd gathered under the school’s flagpole to unveil a new logo for Columbia College.

School leaders said they are proud to have helped thousands of American soldiers and their families earn college degrees while serving their country.
