Missing man presumed drowned at Lake of the Ozarks

Update: Monday, Sept. 5 at 6:25 p.m.:

The water patrol's dive team found the body of Alton Mos Monday afternoon. He was found dead just before noon.

Original Story:

A Kansas City man is missing and presumed to have drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks.

New information, the Missouri Highway Patrol's Water Division says 93-year-old Alton Mos was last seen fishing on his dock along the 34 mile marker on the Lake.

Around 3:45 Sunday afternoon, his hat was found floating in the water near the dock.

The rest of his fishing gear and personal items were still on the dock.

The search for Mos' body will continue Monday.
