Man falls overboard, drowns in pond

A High Hill man is dead after falling overboard into a pond.

The Water Patrol division of the Missouri Highway Patrol said Friday evening; 50-year-old Randy Love fell from a small boat into a pond on private property in High Hill.

Troopers said Love struggled in the water, went under and did not resurface.

The Montgomery County coroner pronounced Love dead just after 10 p.m. Friday.

No other details regarding the incident were released.
