Jefferson City Police arrest Wisconsin homicide suspect

Jefferson City Police recently arrested a man authorities in Milwaukee, Wisc. believe committed a homicide.

Police said they were contacted on August 15 about Derek R. Farrow, 23, Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Police Department believed he was the suspect in a homicide.

Police in Jefferson City were told Farrow was staying with relatives on Case St. Detectives and Community Action Team Officers conducted surveillance on the home. On Tuesday, Aug. 16, Farrow left the residence around noon. Police stopped the vehicle Farrow was traveling in on Stadium Blvd.

Farrow was taken into custody for a probation violation warrant out of Wisconsin and was placed in the Cole County Jail.

Detectives from the Milwaukee Police Department arrived on Aug. 17 to interview Farrow and other Jefferson City residents.

Farrow was then taken back to Wisconsin where he has been charged with First-degree intentional homicide while armed and burglary.
