Kingdom of Callway County Fair gets underway

The Kingdom of Callway County Fair started Monday. The first night of the fair was “Community Night”. If you brought a non-perishable food item you got in for free.

Some at the fair said they were confused because the fair usually starts on a Tuesday. Fair officials said they started one day earlier to give people who might not otherwise come, a chance to get in for a non-perishable food item instead of paying full price.

The fair runs through Saturday. Kids 12 and under are free, adult admission is $10.
