Columbia police are investigating an armed robbery at the Break Time Convenience Store on North Stadium.
Police said the incident happened around 10 p.m. Friday.
According to authorities, two biracial men came out of a wooded area near the Break Time and entered the business. Police said they then pulled out a handgun and demanded money. Both left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were on foot and went back into the wooded area. The cashier was not injured in the robbery.
The men were both described as biracial males in their late teens. One was last seen wearing a dark gray hoodie, black pants a bandana and gloves. The other was seen wearing a light gray hoodie, shorts, bandana and gloves.
Authorities do not know the type of the handgun the suspects showed. Anyone with information about this incident should contact Columbia Police or Crime Stoppers at 875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
