Should you spy on your child's online activity?

A new study says 55 percent of parents in the United Kingdom spy on their kids social networking profiles.

39 percent of parents say they used the the facebook "wall" while 29 percent looked through tagged pictures, and 24 percent said they thought it was the only way to see what their child was doing.

But are you invading your child's privacy when you cyber stalk them?

Brad Jones said, “I've never really felt a need.”

Jeff Freeman told us, “It could be an invasion of privacy but as far as parents are concerned you have to keep a finger on them.”

Teresa Rector-Prenger said, “They get so much on their phones that its really hard to parent that, but on the home computer you know keep it locked up and and monitor it.”

A whopping 76 percent of parents say they check their kids internet history. Some parents even went as far as setting up a facebook account just to check on their kids. A company named Bullguard paid for the study.
