Original Story:

A woman was arrested after a robbery at the Super 8 Motel in Moberly.

Police were called to the motel Thursday morning for a robbery in progress. Motel employees said the robber entered the business with her hand in her purse, implying she had a weapon, and demanded money.

As a motel clerk was handing over money, a customer was able to take the suspect down; and hold her on the floor until police arrived. No one was injured, and no weapon was located.

A 33-year-old Moberly woman was arrested. She's in jail on a $100,000 bond. Her name hasn't been released pending formal charges.
