JEFFERSON CITY -- Updated at 10:42pm, Wednesday, July 13th:

The actual address of the accident is 911 East Miller, a building that shares a wall with the animal shelter.  That address is listed as the Jefferson City Public Works Service Street/Stormwater Division.

Original Story:

We are following reports that a car has hit the Jefferson City Animal Shelter, at 919 East Miller Street.  Our crew on the scene says that a pick-up truck went over the curb, knocked down two parking signs, drove through the grass and hit a corner of the building.

An ambulance crew is working on the driver.
