BOONE COUNTY, MO. -- A man is recovering Saturday after he was stabbed earlier in the morning inside a mid Missouri nightclub.

Boone County Sheriff's Deputies went to Peppers Nightclub on N. Highway 763 for reports of a disturbance.

When they got there they found the 21-year old male with stab wounds in the bathroom.

The victim said he was on the dance floor when he realized he was being assaulted but couldn't provide any information about the suspect.

The victim was treated at University Hospital for non-life threatening wounds to his back and arm.
