Cirilla's draws picketers in Jefferson City

It has been open for a little more than three weeks and it's drawing a lot of attention.

Protesters are targeting Cirilla's adult store on Missouri Boulevard in Jefferson City.

The store has gotten a lot of attention on the KRCG Mid-Missouri Facebook page.

The picketers say they're shocked this type of store is in such a public area, and they aren't happy about it.

Julie Ruengert said, "I was concerned about the easy access to it, and concerned that it was not properly identified as a porn shop."

Ruengert says they are planning to picket more this weekend.

They're hoping their protests will slow business and eventually run Cirilla's out of town.

Cirilla's wouldn't comment on the picketers.
