Just after 3 Saturday morning, Boone County Deputies responded to a disturbance with weapons at a residence in the 5300 block of Ponderosa Street.

When the deputies arrived they found Kyle W. Hollingsworth, a 42-year old resident of Columbia.

Hollingsworth allegedly used a knife to threaten an adult female at the residence.

The female victim was not injured.

Hollingsworth was arrested for 2nd degree domestic assault, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

Hollingsworth’s bond is currently $9,000.00 for the first two charges.

However, the bond for armed criminal action must be set by a judge.
