JEFFERSON CITY, MO -- Jefferson City residents will have a chance to learn and ask questions about potential flooding in the city.
The Flooding Information Meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. in the Boone-Bancroft Conference Room in City Hall on Thursday, June 23. The address is 320 East McCarty Street.
City officials will be on hand to answer questions and concerns from residents about the potential for flooding in Jefferson City.
The Missouri River is expected to rise 27-32 feet in the next couple weeks. Jefferson City’s action plan for flood stages begins at 27 feet. If you would like to read up on the plan click here.
