There's a special election in Cole County Tuesday June 7th.

Voters will decide whether to continue a county-wide sales tax for road and bridge maintenance.

The one-half of one percent tax was put in place in August of 2006.

The ballot issue would continue funding for repairs to existing roads and bridges and fund improvements to bridges, and gravel and hard surface roads in cole county.

A yes vote would extend the tax another five years.
