CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO. -- The northbound U.S. 63 Bridge over Cedar Creek in Callaway County reopened to traffic on Friday.

The bridge has been closed since early April for rehabilitation.

The bridge is located 1.5 miles south of the Boone/Callaway County line.

Both northbound and southbound lanes will be open to traffic during the Memorial Day Weekend.

Beginning Tuesday, crews will continue working in the area.

One northbound lane will close for approximately 2 weeks as crews paint underneath the bridge.

Periodic lane closures will take place southbound to upgrade guardrails.
