The case of a Stover pastor charged with child molestation is back in court today. Travis Smith has a case review in Miller County.

In March, a judge granted him a change of venue from Morgan County.

Smith faces a misdemeanor 2nd degree child molestation charge. He’s accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl while on a fishing trip.

Late last year, prosecutors dropped a second charge of felony rape of another woman. Attorneys for the girl told KRCG the charges were dropped because the female in question was of legal age when the alleged sexual relations occurred.
