COLUMBIA, MO. -- High gasoline prices make it difficult to go to the pump these days.

On Friday you’ll have your chance to make it a pleasant experience again.

Local celebrities will be pumping gas for a good cause in Columbia.

They will take part in the 3rd Annual Driving Youth to Success, Youth Empowerment Zone Fundraiser.

MFA Oil will donate 10 cents for every gallon pumped by the celebrity volunteers to the organization for troubled teens.

Fundraiser Organizer Lorenzo Lawson said, “We have celebrities pumping gas including Mayor Bob McDavid, Senator Kurt Schaefer, Representative Mary Still and Columbia School Superintendent Dr. Chris Belcher.”

You can find celebrities pumping gas at the Nifong Break Time between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday.

Other celebrities will be pumping gas at the Stadium Boulevard and Ash Street Break Time on Friday afternoon between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
