Chester Harvey Jr. and Angel Harvey appeared in Boone County Court on Monday.
Angela appeared before the judge first and requested a change of venue from Audrain County. The requested was granted and she has until the end of the week to submit recommendations for another trial location.
Chester requested a continuance for today and was represented by a public defender. He had previously attempted to represent himself in court. The judge granted the continuance but also set a trial for Chester Harvey for sometime in September.

Three members of the Harvey family that are accused of murder head to court Monday.
The father, Chester Harvey Jr. has a preliminary hearing in Boone County. Harvey is accused of first degree murder of a hitchhiker he picked up.
He is also charged with kidnapping, abandonment of a corpse, and armed criminal action in the December 2009 death of Ohio man, James McNeely.
Harvey is representing himself in court.
Chester's wife Angela Harvey also faces charges in the murder. She will be in court Monday in Boone County as well.
One of their sons also accused in the crime has a preliminary hearing Monday in Audrain County.
16-year-old Jordan Harvey faces second degree murder and kidnapping charges in the case.
Jordan's brother Ethan faces similar charges. His other brother Chad has been sentenced to life in prison.
