Man arrested after leading troopers on pursuit

Around 9:00 Sunday night, Highway Patrol arrested a Salem, MO man after being led on a pursuit through Cole County.

29-year-old Geremy Traxler is currently being held at the Cole County Jail after being taken into custody for multiple crimes.

His charges include resisting arrest, tampering with a vehicle, parole violation, and numerous traffic charges.

Traxler also had a warrant out for his arrest for a failure to appear charge after being suspected for unlawful use of a weapon and possession with intent to deliver amphetamine in Maries County.

Traxler was not given a bond.
