Copper theft in Camden County

CAMDEN COUNTY, MO -- 17 year old Garrett Fancher of Iberia, Missouri has been arrested for copper theft.

On Monday Camden County authorities were called to Moreland Well Drilling on Business Route 5 after several spools of copper wire were taken. They were valued at $3,000.

During the investigation police were told someone had been seen rolling spools off a trailer nearby. The deputy followed the a trail left by the spools to a mobile home. The  deputy later returned to the home and the suspect confessed to the crime.
