Treasurer to announce major changes to college savings plan

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Missouri Treasurer Clint Zweifel  is announcing what his office calls major changes to Missouri's college savings plans.

Zweifel will speak first at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Details of the announcement have not been released.

Zweifel's office oversees the MOST 529 college savings plans. Currently, more than 127,000 enrollees have invested more than $1.5 billion in those plans.
