Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration in Jefferson City

The public is invited to attend a Martin Luther King celebration today in Jefferson City.

The event will begin at 10 A.M. Friday morning in the ballroom of the Govenor Office Building. It will celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Local middle and high school students are competing for in an essay and poster contest. Those winners will be announced Friday morning as well.
