Columbia school bus slides on slick roads

Slick roads caused a bus from Columbia Public Schools to slide off the road.

The district reports it happened about 3:30p.m. on Highway WW in southeast Columbia.

The bus, carrying ten students from Cedar Ridge Elementary, turned sideways.

The Boone County Fire District responded. Initial reports indicated one student suffered minor injuires but, the district reports all of the students are home safely tonight.
