A preliminary hearing is set for Monday afternoon for the former Mizzou running back charged with felony deviate sexual assault.

The judge has ordered Derrick Washington to appear in Boone County Court, prior to his jury trial expected to start next week.

Washington is accused of entering a former tutor's closed bedroom while visiting her roommate and sexually assaulting the woman in her sleep.

He also faces two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault after an ex-girlfriend said he hit her in the face and choked her during a late-night argument.

Washington's attorneys want a change of venue for the trial.
