ROLLA, MO. (AP) -- Update: Monday, Jan. 3 at 1:55 p. m.:
Officials identified the 4th victim of the Rolla-area tornado as Ethel Price, 74.
Original Story:
The fourth victim of a Missouri tornado has been identified as a 74-year-old Phelps County woman.
The county's emergency management director, Sandy North, says Ethel Price, died Saturday morning from injuries sustained in Friday's storm.
Price was entertaining 69-year-old Alice Cox, of Belle, Mo., in her trailer when the twister hit.
Rolla Rural Fire Department Chief Bruce Southard said nothing was left of the trailer except for the frame, and that the twister scattered debris 40 to 50 yards from where the trailer was sitting.
The women were found under a pile of debris.
Cox died Friday, along with two other woman who also lived near Rolla.
Three other people were killed by tornadoes that touched down in the Arkansas hamlet of Cincinnati on Friday.
