KANSAS CITY, MO. (AP) -- A Kansas City man has been barred from working as a massage therapist in Missouri after he admitted to inappropriately touching some of his customers.

The Missouri Board of Therapeutic Massage decided earlier this week to revoke Justin Leonard's license.

He pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges in Platte and Cass counties in 2009.

Board of Therapeutic Massage Chair Renate Brodecker told KMBC that the decision to pull Leonard's license wasn't a difficult one for the board. Brodecker says that preventing inappropriate and illegal touching of clients is one of the most important reasons the state has massage licenses.

No phone number was listed for Leonard.
