JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Update: Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 5:55 p.m.:

Jefferson City police arrested a woman believed to be involved in the Missouri Credit Union and Hawthorn Bank robberies.

Police said she's 38 years old, but won't release any more details because prosecutors have not filed charges.

Jefferson City Police released surveillance photos from the credit union robbery that happened Monday afternoon.

Jefferson City Police’s Capt. Doug Shoemaker said in a news release that the suspect is believed to be a light skinned black male or female.

Police are looking for a robber who stole from the Missouri Credit Union on 3200 West Edgewood in Jefferson City.

The robber was described as 5’5”, wore a black ski mask, black pants, black gloves and a red hoodie.

The robber entered the credit union, yelled at everyone to get on ground and demanded money from the tellers.

The robber did not display a weapon.

The robber then left the scene through the front door in a silver Dodge Stratus or a similar type vehicle.

No one was injured.
