HOWARD COUNTY, MO. -- Howard County Sheriff’s Department arrested two men connected to burglaries in seven mid-Missouri counties.

Joshua L. Kissinger, of New Franklin was arrested Friday morning and Joshua L. Baxter, of Boonville was arrested Thursday night.

Howard County Sheriff Charlie Polson said the suspects allegedly stole property from Macon, Boone Cooper, Cole, Randolph, Chariton and Howard Counties.

Polson said deputies are trying to return the stolen property, but they believe a lot of the items have been sold.

Both Kissinger and Baxter are on parole and have long criminal histories said Polson.

Kissinger is charged with receiving stolen property.

Baxter hasn’t been charged yet because it’s still early in the investigation.

Polson said deputies are interviewing the suspects.

The Rural Crimes Task Force assisted in arresting the two suspects.
