COLUMBIA, MO. -- Update: Thursday Feb. 17 at 8:50 a.m.:
Columbia Police have arrested an eighth, and they believe final, suspect in the robbery and murder of 22 year old Aaron Hobson. Hobson was shot and killed on October 23 last year in the parking lot of the Break Time Convenience Store on East Nifong Boulevard. Hobson was in town to watch his cousin play for the the MU Football Tigers in the Homecoming game.
Officers say Patrick Rashad Marshall, 18, of St. Louis, turned himself in to the Columbia Police Station Wednesday afternoon. After watching the video surveillance footage from the Break Time; Marshall was identified by investigators as the 8th suspect in the Hobson murder case. Investigators searched for Marshall for several months but were unable to locate him.
Marshall’s bond was set at $1 Million, cash only. Investigators tell KRCG they are not seeking any other suspects at this time.

Columbia Police have identified an eighth suspect in the shooting death of a cousin of a Missouri football player.
Patrick Rashad Marshall, 18, of St. Louis was identified by viewing the surveillance video from the Break Time Convenience Store on Nifong Road in Columbia.
Aaron Hobson, 22, was killed on Saturday, Oct. 23 in the parking lot of the store after being robbed. The passenger in Hobson’s car said the two of them were approached by several black males who demanded money from Hobson. The passenger said after Hobson was shot, several suspects ran from the scene.
Police have arrested seven people in connection to the murder.
Police obtained a warrant for Marshall for second degree murder and second degree robbery. Marshall’s bond would be set at $1 million, cash only.
Hobson was the cousin of Trey Hobson, a defensive back with the Missouri Tigers, and he was in Columbia for the game against Oklahoma.
