Derrick Washington’s criminal setting was Monday afternoon.
Boone County Court Clerk said the criminal setting means the hearings will be entered into future dockets and times were going to be scheduled.
A future hearing will discuss Washington’s change in venue request.

The case against a former University of Missouri running back will be in court Monday for a criminal setting status hearing.
Derrick Washington is charged with deviate sexual assault. Washington will not be in court, but his attorneys will be.
Attorneys will discuss a change of venue for Washington’s trial during the hearing.
Washington is accused of entering a former tutor's closed bedroom while visiting her roommate and sexually assaulting the woman in her sleep.
He also faces two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault after an ex-girlfriend said he hit her in the face and choked her during a late-night argument.
