Car accident in Cole County seriously injures driver

A Morgan County man was seriously injured in a one car accident Monday in Cole County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said the accident happened around 3:10 Monday afternoon. 51 year old Howard Price was driving on Westbound Highway 54, just east of Old Bass Road, when he ran off the left side of the road and overturned down an embankment.

Price was taken to St. Marys by Staff for Life, then University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
