Gas leak blocks West McCarthy Street

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- West McCarthy Street was blocked off after service meter on a house was knocked off and caused a gas leak.

Ameren was on the scene and patched up the supply line within 30 minutes.

Residents in the area were not asked to evacuate.
