BOONE COUNTY, MO. -- A verbal argument led to an arrest Tuesday night in Boone County.

Terrell Williams was arrested and charged with tampering, child endangerment, DWI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Deputies were called to the Casey's General Store on El Chaparral, but by the time they arrived, the suspect had fled the scene in a car he did not own, taking his 5-year-old daughter with him.

Deputies found the car a few blocks away after it had been driven through two fences, two yards, and over a tree.

His bond is set at $12,500.
