COLUMBIA, MO. -- If you don't want your kids bouncing off the walls from all the Halloween candy they have, there’s a solution.

Monday, Keene Dental Care in Columbia is hosting its annual Halloween candy buy back.

For every pound of candy your trick-or-treaters bring, they'll get a dollar in return. The sweet treats collected will be sent to "operation gratitude" for troops overseas.

The Halloween candy buy back is this afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can also donate additional care-package items through Nov. 6.

Dr. Mallott isn't only doing this to save the little one's teeth; he was once on the receiving end while he was a dentist in Iraq.
