A convicted killer and two other inmates who escaped from a northwest Missouri jail are back in custody.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office says 57-year-old Carlos Sarmiento and 34-year-old Timothy Baudour were caught Tuesday afternoon.

The men broke out of the Daviess/Dekalb County Jail Sunday night by crawling under a fence in the recreation area.

Two women have been charged with conspiracy and accused of purchasing the wire cutter used in the escape.

PATTONSBURG, Mo. (AP) -- Authorities are looking for three men who escaped last night from a northwest Missouri jail.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office says the men crawled under a fence to get out of the Daviess/DeKalb County jail in Pattonsburg.

The escapees include 57-year-old Carlos Sarmiento. He was convicted in September for first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Lance Davis. The two men lived together in Jamesport. Police say Sarmiento killed Davis by hitting him in the head with a hammer.

Sarmiento is scheduled to be sentenced November 19th.

He is 5-feet-9, 140 pounds with brown hair, with a tattoo with Spanish words on his right arm and a woman's head with a sombrero tattooed on his left arm.

The other escapees are 26-year-old Nicholas D. McCleary, being held on an escape attempt; and 34-year-old Timothy J. Baudour, who was being held for assault.
