The Kansas City, Mo. police officer who responded to the escaped ape, got a unique view of the chimp when she jump on his car.
The ape broke out the passenger-side window of a patrol car, but there was no other damage.

A 300-pound ape that escaped from a Kansas City home is in custody after roaming a neighborhood and smashing a window on a police car.
Police spokesman Capt. Rich Lockhart said the department got a call around noon Tuesday that some kind of primate was on the loose in a neighborhood a few miles from the Kansas City Zoo.
Lockhart said the ape broke out the passenger-side window of a patrol car, but there was no other damage.
An animal control officer shot the primate with a tranquilizer dart that failed to subdue it. Lockhart said the officer fired a second dart, but missed.
The incident ended when the animal's owner coaxed it back into a cage in the back of his vehicle.
