COLUMBIA, MO. -- Columbia police arrested a wanted man early Friday.

Darious Lucas, 20, was wanted for violating parole from an attempted robbery charge.

Columbia Police said they got a tip that Lucas was in a residence at 4910 Aztec Boulevard.

Police evacuated a nearby resident as a safety precaution. Lucas was taken into custody without incident around 12:20 a.m.

Police said Lucas pleaded guilty to an attempted robbery charge in May 2006 and was sentenced to five years in prison.
