Tip leads police to suspect

ROLLA, MO. -- Rolla Police arrested a man in connection to a Country Mart grocery store robbery that happened Saturday night.
Marquis D. Robinson, 34, of Rolla was arrested Monday after a tip lead police to his residence on the 1900 block of Farrar Drive.
Robinson is accused of walking into the Country Mart, threatening several employees and stealing an undisclosed amount of money.
Police got a search warrant for Robinson’s home and found pot, drug paraphernalia and a substantial amount of cash believed to have been stolen during the robbery.
Robinson was arrested for first degree robbery, armed criminal action felonious restraint and drug possession. He is being held at the Phelps County Jail.
