JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri not-for-profit organizations must file their registration reports by Tuesday.
The Missouri secretary of state's office is urging not-for-profit organizations to file their paperwork by the deadline. Organizations that are late must pay a $5 late charge.
Starting this year, corporations founded in an even-numbered year can file registration reports that are good for two years. Corporations founded in odd-numbered years have that option in 2011.
The secretary of state's office said Missouri has more than 42,000 not-for-profit organizations
