Man charged with involuntary manslaughter in boating wreck

COLE COUNTY, MO. -- An Osage County man faces an involuntary manslaughter charge after a fatal boating incident.

The collision happened on July 3 on the Osage River in Cole County.

According to court documents, Noland Stuecken, of Loose Creek, was drunk driving a boat when he collided with another boat.

A woman on the other boat later died from injuries she suffered in the wreck.

According to the probable cause statement, Stuecken told water patrol troopers he drank six beers in a six hour span.

Troopers said he failed all of the sobriety checks.
