JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- State Auditor Susan Montee has completed a review of Missouri's sex offender registration program.

Montee planned to release the results Wednesday at a news conference in Jefferson City.

Missouri implemented its sex offender registry in 1995 and expanded it in 2000 to include misdemeanor offenses.

The state Supreme Court ruled last year that a federal sex offender registration law requires all offenders to register. The Missouri court had ruled earlier that people could not be forced to register if their offenses occurred before the state registry was created.
