Amtrak adjusts Mo. schedule for track work

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (AP) -- Amtrak is adjusting the schedule on one of its Missouri passenger train routes for a few days to accommodate work on some tracks.

Beginning Wednesday, the late eastbound train will leave Kansas City at 5:00 p.m. instead of 4:00 p.m. and arrive in St. Louis at 10:40
p.m. instead of 9:40 p.m.

Amtrak says the schedule will return to normal Aug. 16.
