U.S. Senate Candidate Roy Blunt was in Jefferson City Monday to pick up the endorsement of the Missouri Soybean Association.
Blunt told supporters that he thinks Missourians will approve Proposition “C” on election day Tuesday. The ballot measure asks Missourians if the state should deny a section in the Health Care act that penalizes citizens if they are not covered by health insurance.
Blunt supports the passage of Proposition "C" as a challenge to the perceived excesses of the Obama /Reid /Pelosi governing team.
"I think this is a bill that ultimately will not stand up to all kinds of challenges, including the ballot box challenge in Missouri,” Blunt said.
Democrat Robin Carnahan plans to vote against the measure.
