The closing arguments are done in the case of Michael Tisuis, one of the men convicted of killing two Randolph County jailers. He is hoping to overturn his original sentence.

The jury is deliberating. A verdict is expected today.

One of the men convicted of killing two Randolph County jailers is back in court, hoping to overturn his sentence.

Michael Tisuis was sentenced to die after convictions of first degree murder for the deaths of Leon Egley and Jason Acton during a botched attempt to break a friend out of the old Randolph County Jail in 2000.

A jury from Greene County will hear about the troubled youth of Michael Tisuis.

The outcome of this week's trial will not overturn his conviction, but the jury could decide Tisius should have been sentenced to life in prison.
